ERASMUS PLUS PROJECT IDEA (Inspiring Digital Entrepreneurship and Awareness in HE) ON-LINE MULTIPLIER EVENT IN SLOVAKIA

The Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava as a partner in the international Erasmus Plus project IDEA organized on Thursday, 30 September 2021 an online seminar for students of six universities focused on the presentation of the intellectual outputs and project platform of this project. More than 120 students participated in the seminar.

The main objective of the multiplication event was to introduce the project and its platform, which has the ambition to improve the chances of university students to become successful in their professions across different fields of study by developing not only entrepreneurial, but also digital knowledge and skills. The seminar presented the project outputs focused on the current state of digitalisation with an emphasis on universities in Slovakia and in the countries that participated in the project, training materials and tools focused on digital entrepreneurship and its key components. These outputs are intended to serve university students in starting up their digital businesses. The seminar also included presentations by representatives of institutions that present examples of good practice in digitalisation and digital transformation: the Mini Tech MBA, Butterfly Effect, Grow with Google and the Faculty of Architecture and Design of STU. At the end of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to discuss with the presenters, exchange experiences and network.

he IDEA project (www.ideadigital.eu) aims to map and assess the dynamics of digital entrepreneurship in the participating countries by identifying common trends, challenges, best practices and tools. The results of the IDEA project will be used across Europe through the OER platform, which aims to become a knowledge hub and open learning centre. IDEA will further raise awareness among higher education institutions and education authorities about the potential of digital skills, entrepreneurial skills and their role as success factors in business. The project consortium is composed of 9 members from 7 countries (Croatia, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Spain).
